It's amazing you were able to stick with the show until ep 28 before actually properly finding a character you liked! I sometimes don't even get halfway through the first ep before deciding for or against, so that's some dedication...

Nice thoughts on animation too -- if anything it drives the point further that art style itself makes up a huge part of a show's identity
